Patricia has held various management and senior management positions at Global One and later at Equant over a 9-year period.  Functional disciplines include investment evaluation for operations and infrastructure projects, finance re-engineering, process design and implementation, and evaluation and implementation of information and billing systems.  She has extensive experience working with multi-functional as well as multi-cultural projects.
Highlights from her career include:
Completing plan for the standardization of Cash Management operations for the France Telecom affiliate companies (Wanadoo, Orange, France Telecom, Polish Telecom, and Equant).
Successfully leading and completed the Cash Management and Accounts Receivable processes migration to a Financial Shared Services Center for Equant’s Latin American and Mexican operations. Managed banking relationship throughout the testing and implementation of standard electronic payments.

Participating as a major contributor in the preparation of the business case and project plans for the implementation of Equant’s Financial and Accounting Shared Services Centers for Latin America, Europe and Asia.   All three Shared Services Centers were successfully implemented in 2003 - 2004.

Managing implementation of inter-company (Trade and Funding) process.  Documented process, and developed training documentation.

Completing master plan for the migration of data services billing from Legacy systems.  Developed a standard process to conduct migration tasks.  Designed and implemented local migration control mechanisms.  Lead the implementation of migration activities for US-billed customers including National Data Carriers.  Co-lead the migration of customers in Europe and Asia Pacific.

 

Prior to Global One and Equant, Patricia participated in a joint venture of one of the first ISP’s in Ecuador, where she was a shareholder.  She also worked with a Swiss purchasing company (part of the SICPA and Seagram’s group) as project manager for procurement projects in Latin America and Africa financed by the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. She began her career as a as a financial analyst for TV Answer, a Mexican-owned technology company in Virginia (interactive television), where she developed financial models to support new product development, prepared the company’s business plan, and worked on the company’s initial private offer with Dillon Reed in New York.      

Patricia is an Ecuadorian national. She holds an MBA from Babson College in Massachusetts, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from York University in Toronto, Canada.  Patricia is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
