As Senior Vice-President and CIO of Hawaiian Telcom (HT), provided executive leadership for all areas of IT resulting in the overall strategic planning and implementation of 78 new business support systems. Prior to accepting the CIO role, Dave was an executive consultant to The Carlyle Group providing advice and assistance on their acquisition of the former Verizon Hawaii business.
As Chief Information Officer of Broadwing/Cincinnati Bell, led the development of the IT organization, systems architecture and systems implementation for a $2.1 billion national and local communications carrier. As Vice President, Information Technology at Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company, Dave built an IT organization responsible for implementing over 100 key re-engineering initiatives. Through a mix of both internal and outsourced teams, these initiatives were successfully implemented to allow a reduction of business unit resources necessary to achieve and exceed targeted financial objectives.

As President of Cincinnati Bell Supply successfully refocused the company to core capabilities, returning the company to profitability and positive cash flow. This turn around allowed this subsidiary to be sold by Cincinnati Bell.

As Director of Corporate Development for Cincinnati Bell Inc., Dave was responsible for a wide range of business development and merger and acquisition activities. These successfully resulted in numerous domestic and international acquisitions and divestitures.
